Though I have been to Raeburn Orchard a few times now as a Roleystone family photographer, I have never been “off season”. Though the trees aren’t covered in blossoms or fiery red leaves, it is still amazing. Well worth the drive even for people like me who live by the coast. The family who run Raeburn did an excellent job of renovating their grocery store. They now have local cider on top as well as a cafe. Read all about this beautiful spot here.
This lovely family live in the south eastern suburbs of Perth but have never been to the orchard. It was lovely showing them around and I am confidant they will be back. They love the outdoors and wanted their updated photos to reflect that. There is an 8 year gap between these sisters so knew family portraits I agree are a must. So we started off capturing the bond between the two before getting everyone together. Seeing as we were the only ones on the property we could roam around to find our favourite spots. I just know that lots of greenery was on top of the list. It was also important out capture all the combinations between the group which we did. I heard from this family immediately and they were very happy with the mini session in the hills.
