You know those moments where your toddlers play peek-a-boo around your legs? Or when daddy whisks a child up in the air like they’re Superman? That’s where I come in. I’m here to capture that bond between parent and child in a way that will stand the test of time.

Sure, we all have mobile phones nowadays, but what about whoever is behind the camera? Did you ever look back at those photos taken on the phone and think, “man, I wish I had just one picture of all of us?” Selfies are great on a whim, but every family deserves to have a professional capture them, at least once!

And yes, family photos can be stressful, but they shouldn’t be! Let me help you. I’ll offer props, location ideas and even tips to prepare your children. Don’t know what to wear yourself? I can guide you with that too. I’ll literally be there every step of the way so all you have to do is show up and have a good time. I want nothing more than for you to look back at the amazing memories that we’ve captured. You deserve it!

PRE-SESSION COMMUNICATION

All emails and calls involved in planning the session. Once booked in, I send a pre session questionnaire so that I get to know you all that little bit better. At the same time, I send a guide for both wardrobe and photoshoot locations, as they are my two most commonly asked questions. I will continue to be here to answer any other questions that may come up along the way.

I HR PHOTOSHOOT

This is the fun part! I know the thought of photos can be scary for some. You can feel safe in my hands - you will have my creative guidance throughout your entire photography shoot. During the planning stage, we'll have decided whether your photo session should be held in my studio, in you home or outdoors.

HIGH RES JPEG DIGITAL FILES

All selected images go through a final edit and are provided in both colour and black and white, as high resolution jpeg files.

Booking Fee

Week Day: $200

Week End: $300

To secure a time and date just for you, I charge a booking fee. This covers all communications leading up to the shoot (like my detailed wardrobe and location guide) our time spent photographing together, and the creation of your gorgeous online gallery of images from which you choose from.

Due to the busy weekend schedules of my four children, there is a $100 surcharge for weekend bookings.

The $200 payment is deducted from your chosen collection.

My pricing is simple and offers the flexibility of digital files that I know everyone wants in this digital era, but also with beautiful printed products. I have designed these so you are not locked into any complicated collections, you pick the number of digital files you are after and then spend your print credit on products that YOU like. I love to help families fill their home with their photographs, creating treasured heirlooms!

PHOTO EDITING

YOUR PHOTO LEGACY STARTS HERE!

After we have completed your photoshoot, your session images will be loaded onto my computer. Then begins the culling process so that you are presented with only the very best images. I will apply my signature colour edit to your gallery and deliver these to you.

Once you have selected your package and the included images, I will individually hand edit this selection. I will be looking for blemishes, bugs, obvious background elements ... fine tuning until they are ready for final delivery.

I know we live in a digital era and everyone wants to keep their digital files. I believe that you should be able to print and share your images as many times as you'd like, and that's why every session includes your choice of digital files with a print release included in my packages. The sad thing is that digital files do not last - they either corrupt or technology advances so much that they can no longer be accessed.

So this is my reminder for you to print your photos. My print store gives you access to timeless, heirloom pieces to hang on your wall, display on your shelves or fill your albums. Professional, archival quality products are an absolute must!

Canvas Art

Printed on 450gsm cotton, the stretched canvas presents your images on a textured matte surfac, lasting 75 years+ without fading. The hardwood frame has a beveled edge meaning your canvas won’t warp, sag or indent over time. It is coated with a UV protective, waterproof and antifungal laminate and is finished at the back with gallery hooks and wire, ready to hang in your home.

Framed Art

Traditional picture framing uses high quality acid-free materials. The mouldings are available in black, white and natural wood, finished with sleek glass and come ready to hang. This combined the with archival fine art prints on cotton rag paper means for a long lasting premium product. There are many customisations with framed prints such as free floating or matted images, straight or torn edge paper and even circular prints. Gallery frames include multiple photos inside the one frame.

Timber Mount

Your fine art print is mounted onto marine grade ply wood and coated with a UV protective, waterproof and antifungal laminate. The edges can be finished straight or with a rounded corner. Timber mounts are available in circles, squares and rectangles. These are a minimalistic, yet earthy artwork to display in your home.

Print Box

Carefully hand made by a local men's shed from hard wood timber, this is a beautiful storage box for your matted images that also doubles as a frame. The clever design includes concealed hinges and a magnetic catch, combined with acrylic on both sides of the box making it an 8x10 inch frame. The box is beautifully finished with natural beeswax and shellac and comes filled with 15 matted fine art prints.

If you would like 10 matted prints but do not require the display option, I can supply these in a lovely linen box. These are a beautiful presentation option as a gift.

Fine Art Album

This 11x11 inch fine art album comes with 20 custom designed, layflat pages with your choice of a photo wrap or natural hemp cover. Each album is handcrafted using archival art paper and has a reinforced spine. This album is a wonderful way to tell your family story.

Miniature 6x6 inch copies of the lay-flat album are available to gift to family members.

An alternative is the 10x10 inch traditional matted album, which holds ten of your favourite images. The album is wrapped in natural Japanese cotton with a personalised cover. Each album is produced using archival paper, mat boards and glues.

You'll be sent a questionnaire for me to learn more about your family. Then some information on how to prepare for your session will be sent - locations to consider if it is an outdoor session, plus a comprehensive guide on what to wear. I am also happy to share my tips on how to prepare your children for the session. Get excited!

CONFIRM THE PLAN

About a week before your session, I confirm your location and wardrobe choices if I haven't already heard from you. At this point I can help with any further styling assistance. As the date approaches, we will confirm the finer details - taking into consideration the weather and sickness that can sometimes mess with our schedule.

SHOOT DAY!

Ahhhh, well this is the best part. We get to meet and capture the magic! You will also pop through payment for the package of your choice.

GALLERY DELIVERY

Grab the tissues and relive the experience through my eyes. Aren't you all just the sweetest! Packages can be upgraded at this point and you can begin to add some products.

Newborn photos take longer than my other sessions because your baby's needs are my priority - I allow plenty of time for snuggles, feeds and nappy changes so your baby remains as comfortable as possible. A newborn shoot can take between 2 -3 hours.
