Being a shorter photo session, my Perth mini sessions come in bite sized packages, making
capturing your families milestones more affordable! Mini sessions are perfect if you want a short
but still VERY sweet photoshoot experience for your family.
Minis are ideal for maternity, parent with newborn and milestone sessions, or a quick
"just because" update to your family photos.
30 minute minis are available Monday - Wednesday evenings at my local park location or beach.
Alternatively, we can use my in home studio for maternity, newborn or baby/toddler sessions.
From time to time, these shoots also run on weekends.
Minis aren’t suitable for extended family sessions or for children that take a long time to warm up.

Pretty cool, don't you think? There's two reasons why I am able to pack these sessions full of value. Firstly, when shooting at
a seasonal location (that is often not in central Perth), I book multiple families at the same location on the same day. This
works so well for both of us - I get to photograph so many more families and you get it at a special price!
The other option is offering sessions on more varied dates, (that don't have to be back to back) because they are close to
my home or in my home studio. In this case, I am able to schedule shoots around my children's timetables that I wouldn't
be able to fit in if I had to travel. Another win for us both!

Perth newborn photography is best captured around the 2 week mark when they are sleepy, curly and brand-new for the posed studio sessions.
In home, it honestly doesn’t really matter. We are capturing the bond between the family members so it is not essential that your baby is asleep.
Fresh 48 shoots are the most time restrictive, as I need to visit you when you are still in hospital.

Booking in your 2nd trimester is best. I note down all newborn due dates in my calendar, knowing that they could be born a few weeks either side. Let me know once they have arrived, and we can book a date that suits your newborn style of photography.

Yes of course! I always try to fit you into my calendar no matter what. I know I can capture adorable images of your new baby no matter how old they are.

Honestly? NOW! They grow so very fast and each week brings new things!
BUT if I had to choose, 8-10 months is divine – they are generally sitting up unaided, they are smiling, laughing, sometimes crawling, their little chubby thighs are divine, and we generally can achieve lots of variety during the session.

Yes! I photograph all members of the family – welcoming a new human into your clan is important for everyone.

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
I provide assistance and direction with styling for all my clients by sharing a detailed wardrobe guide after the booking fee is paid.
Plain and simple works best, with clothes which show off the bump. For partners, anything co-ordinating with you is perfect – keep it simple and steer clear of any large checks, spots, stripes or logos.

This is completely up to you, I know you will look beautiful in front of the camera no matter what! I do find that mumma’s who invest a little bit in themselves, feel just that little bit more fabulous in front of the camera. And how you feel is what it’s all about at the end of the day!
So if it’s a good excuse to find 45 minutes to escape to be pampered, then go for it!

CAN WE ONLY BOOK WEEKDAYS?
As a general rule, yes. This allows me to be really flexible with you and schedule your session quite easily around your expected due date. Both parents are normally off work during this exciting time and have more flexibility than my family clients, who might only be available on weekends.

DO YOU SHARE IMAGES ONLINE?
Of course! There is no better way to share with my future clients the results they should expect from a session with me. I never use anyone's names though, the world doesn't need to know that. If you have any court orders or other issues about photos being used online, I am very understanding. Please just let me know.
