HOW DO I BOOK A SESSION AND HOW FAR IN ADVANCE?
It's never too early to book, I have a busy schedule with four children and a husband that works FIFO, so it's always best to get in early to avoid disappointment.

HOW DO YOU ACCEPT PAYMENT?
Your booking fee is due via bank transfer. Please note that this is non-refundable but is transferable to a later date should something come up. The remainder is due 2 days prior to your session either by transfer or cash.

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?
This is dependant on the package that you purchase. I offer upgrades with all my sessions, so once you see the images and fall in love, you don't have to worry about missing out! Every gallery delivered contains a minimum of 40 images.

DO YOU PROVIDE RAW FILES?
No, my edits are my art. Additionally, it takes special software to open and process RAW images, which most people don't have access to at home.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY IMAGES AND PRODUCTS?
After your shoot, you will receive your proofing gallery in 2 weeks time. After selecting the images depending on the collection, you will then be able to download your fully edited files within 1 week. The included prints will be with you shortly after. Your art is created in Australia's finest photographic labs, and can take up to 6 weeks to arrive to my studio. I will let you know as soon as it arrives.

WHICH LOCATIONS DO YOU USE?
Either my Carine studio or on location. A list of my locations is sent to you once you have locked in a date. But I know you want to be inspired, so I have them summarised under the info tab.

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
I provide assistance and direction with styling for all my clients by sharing a detailed wardrobe guide after the booking fee is paid. But I know you want to be inspired, so I have some of the key points under the info tab.

WHAT IF IT RAINS?
We will reschedule your session to the next available date. Weather forecasts aren't reliable enough until the day of the shoot. So outdoor sessions are confirmed the morning of the shoot, and if I have any concerns of dangerous weather or rain, then I will be in touch.

WHAT IF WE ARE SICK?
If someone in your family (or myself) are sick, we will reschedule. Sick kids, or adults, will not be in the mood for the fun and energy of a shoot if they are feeling unwell.

DO YOU TRAVEL?
Yes, travel within a half hour of Carine is included. Any travel outside this will incur a small fee.

WHY DO SESSIONS START SO LATE?
My outdoor sessions always start around one hour before sunset. This is because the last light of the day is the most flattering. For young children this can seem quite late compared to their usual schedule. Try as hard as you can to make sure they don't miss their nap the day of the shoot. Make sure they have a full meal before coming - nobody wants a "hangry" outburst. Pack 'clean' snacks and water to keep everyone going once we start shooting.

I'M LATE FOR A SUNSET SHOOT?
Please do everything you can to arrive on time to your sunset sessions. The time of your shoot has been chosen specifically because of the light at that time, at that location. Starting too early and the sun is too strong, too late and we are losing the light.

I'M LATE FOR A NEWBORN SHOOT?
Please try to arrive on time but these sessions are not dependent on the sun like sunset sessions. I know it is a whole new experience leaving the house with a new little person to ge ready! I am fully aware that you may arrive 15 minutes late. Don't stress about it!

ARE YOUR NEWBORN SESSIONS ONLY ON WEEKDAYS?
As a general rule, yes. This allows me to be really flexible with you and schedule your session quite easily around your expected due date. Both parents are normally off work during this exciting time and have more flexibility than my family clients, who might only be available on weekends.

DO YOU SHOOT EXTENDED FAMILIES?
Yes I do! My mum was one of 7 and my dad 1 of 5. So I have the fondest memories, playing with my millions of cousins when I was little. I love capturing all the generations together for those that are happy to deal with the chaos of large family shoots.

CAN I BRING MY FUR BABY?
Absolutely! Please just let me know well in advance of your session because it will impact which locations we can use.

DO YOU SHARE IMAGES ONLINE?
Of course! There is no better way to share with my future clients the results they should expect from a session with me. I never use anyone's names though, the world doesn't need to know that. If you have any court orders or other issues about photos being used online, I am very understanding. Please just let me know.
