What is h*e*art work
H*e*art Work is a photography project I would like to start. I hope to document and preserve the stories of families who are currently experiencing loss, terminal illness, and other very difficult situations. These families are getting through the most difficult times because of the strength of their hearts.
The courageous families involved will be gifted a professional photo shoot and printed fine art photo from myself, to record their family journey even through the toughest of times.

my reason why
Taking photos holds a deeply sentimental significance for me, and it is all due to my childhood. I had the best early life, being loved on by my parents, family and friends. I was so lucky to constantly travel between Sweden and Australia, living a truly unique life. But when I was 11 years old, my mum was diagnosed with cancer, and she was taken from us when I was 17.
It is still the worst thing that ever happened to me. The photos I have of my childhood are my most treasured possessions, as it is a way to go back in time and relive those memories, even when time wants to make them fade.
In the quiet corners of my heart and soul, where my memories do still reside, photography becomes a way to bridge the gap between the past and the future. Every time I hold a camera, I am not just capturing moments - I am preserving fragments of love, wisdom, and warmth. I want to capture these moments for other families, immortalising the fleeting beauty of life.

CHERISH sessions
"Cherish" sessions are all about celebrating life! I will document the love, strength and courage of these families who are travelling a difficult road together.
This may be for someone who is suffering from a terminal illness, a family experiencing the loss of a child or young parent, or a similar situation.
With these sessions, I aim to capture to your family surrounded by love and joy, creating happy memories to look back on no matter where the road may lead.

All photo sessions provided will be of a high professional standard and gifted to the amazing families involved.
These beautiful images deserve to be much more than JPEG memories. I'll be giving tangible products such as prints as well, to bring these images of hope to life.
