Woodvale Swamp Family Photographer

I am lucky to have an awesome location near me that I can use at any time. I am a Woodvale Swamp family photographer but I will happily adventure to other spots that you think are great. The only thing I don’t really love is mowed, manicured grass as the sun reflects a neon tree colour back into the camera and it is not flattering for skin tones. You face can east get a colour cast that makes you look sick.

Perry’s Paddock, the field in Woodvale, has a lot of grass. But it has two things going for it. Firstly it has a lot of texture because it isn’t mowed short. It also dries out over the warmer months so it is not super green. Both of these factors make it perfect for family portraits.

Now, to this family. Two year old twins at a sunset family shoot – I am impressed with how happy they were to let me follow them around (instead of snuggling mum and dad in their warm house with snacks!) I am never pushy, I would rather go with the flow and get some more candid photos rather than make a child do something that don’t want to do. I know mum and dad were really happy with the photos which is what matters 🙂
