Trigg Maternity Photographer

Now how can a shoot go wrong as a Trigg maternity photographer when I have a couple as stunning as this in front of me!?

We had been debating what time to start the session. I know the harsh Australian sun is still very bright even a half hour before sunset. Golden hour is golden 15 minutes on the west coast. If you don’t regularly shoot at the beach I can see you being nervous that the photos will be too dark. And many people probably don’t know about blue hour. Or the 15 minutes after the sun has gone down. It is also very beautiful. I sent examples of my images taken at different times as the sun went down and we agreed to meet 15 minutes before sunset. So if you every have any questions or don’t understand what I am doing, feel free to ask. I am happy to explain my choices.

The sun literally dipped behind a cloud as we started … noooo!! After all the discussions it didn’t matter as we had cloud cover softening the light. But look how stunning the pastel sky turned out, I couldn’t love it more 🙂 The wind also picked up A LOT as we arrived. I really, really adore the movement created in flowing fabrics and hair as they blow in the wind. We just made sure to face the right direction so no faces were obscured and then I captured this magic as a Trigg maternity photographer.
