Perth Gender Reveal Photographer

Can you believe this is the first time I have been employed as a Perth gender reveal photographer. Have a look at this gorgeous maternity and gender announcement shoot. I know this couple are so excited to share their news with everyone, it was wonderful to be a part of it.

They didn’t have the easiest start to this journey. I will quote them from the announcement they made on Instagram:

These pictures may look like just another set of pregnancy photos on social media. To us and our families, it is so much more.
I will never forget where I was on September 21 when Rhi called. She rang to tell me that our Baby had tested for a rare genetic condition that would result in termination. The pain and heartache in her voice engulfed me in a grief I have never felt before.

What followed was a month of tests. Scans, appointments and highs and lows of emotion. Luckily this was a false positive! We can now feel happy and plan for welcoming a baby into the world once again.

I never really understood what my parents would tell me about feeling every pain and happiness your child feels – now I know (sort of). I imagine this gets more intense after birth and I have a newfound respect for all parents going through sickness or worry with their kids.

To anyone who has a similar diagnosis from the harmony test – there is a lot more hope than what your doctor may tell you. Keep positive.

This explains their journey and now you can know why I also had a tear in my eye when they popped the balloon and learnt they were having a baby boy. I truly feel blessed to be part of this journey as a Perth gender reveal photographer.
