Hyde Park Family Photography

I was honoured to be asked to shoot this Hyde Park Family Photography session. This is because grandma Dot had just been diagnosed with cancer and was starting her treatment immediately. The whole family was getting together from around the country so it was suggested that an extended family shoot happen. What a good sport Dot was, posing with everyone who loves her the most. I know these photos will be treasured by everyone, regardless of the outcome of the coming months of treatment.

I should add a comment on this post about what to wear to a session. We communicated back and forward leading up to the session.  The initial suggestion was a lot of black which is just not my style.  We discussed picking a base colour that everyone could pick a differers shade of as well as using lots of different texture and pattern.  What a wonderful job they did!
