Even though this spot is really close to me, it is the first time I have worked as a Watermans Beach family photographer. I have checked it regularly, but at sunset the tide is often so high that there is no beach. But we were lucky on this occasion. You actually can’t tell, but for a summers evening, this day was really cold and extremely windy. Thankfully we had the rocky outcrops to protect us some what.
This family staycation took two weeks to happen. One of the girls here has been living in the US, and managed to get a compassionate flight before our borders officially opened. But she got redirected to Darwin where she quarantined. There was a lot of confusion if she’d have to also do it in WA seeing as her transport into the state was cancelled. At the last minute everything was sorted! The 2 weeks of quarantine was certainly worth it for this family to see each other again. I am always happy to be a part of these special moments.
