It's so hard to know what to look for in good shoot locations, but lucky for you - I've been around :)

We want the images to feel natural and candid, but the process of getting there requires gentle direction so that you don't feel lost or awkward. I've got you. All you have to do is relax and enjoy being with people that you love the most in the world.

FAQ
Why do sessions start so late in summer
My outdoor sessions always start around one hour before sunset. This is because the last light of the day is the most flattering. For young children this can seem quite late compared to their usual schedule. Try as hard as you can to make sure they don't miss their nap the day of the shoot. You must ensure they have a full meal before coming - nobody wants a "hangry" outburst. Pack snacks and water to keep everyone going once we start shooting. Normally the novelty of doing something different keep the children awestruck and full of joy.
where are the photos taken?
Either in my Carine studio or on location. A list of my locations is sent to you once you have locked in a date.
what happens if any family members are sick?
I will reschedule your session to the next available date.
what happens if it rains?
I will reschedule your session to the next available date. Weather forecasts aren't reliable enough until the day of the shoot. So outdoor sessions are confirmed the morning of the shoot. If I have any concerns of dangerous weather or rain, I will be in touch.
