Mum in particular was hoping for some flowers at her location, so I think being a botanical garden family photographer was a success. It was quite late in Spring so I wasn’t expecting to find much, but to our pleasure King’s Park still had some colourful ground cover. But I am equally loving the various shades (and textures) of greens. It all looks beautiful.
And the same goes for the family. Mum and I spent time leading up to the shoot discussing wardrobe. We firstly started on a colour palette and then checked to see what items of clothing they already had in their wardrobe. In the end we have lovely cool shade items that work perfectly together. Combined with the mixture of patterns – solid colours, flowers and animals create further interest. It all came together perfectly.
