York Canola Fields | Spring Photos Around Perth

Spring Photos Around Perth

The last six weeks we have had freezing temperatures, rain, the birth of my son and the death of my dad.  I felt we had been house bound for ages.  However, we had a glorious weekend and my husband was home.  So off on a road trip we went.  I have never visited York, an 90 minutes inland from Perth.  It is actually the oldest inland town in Western Australia after settlement.  The little buildings were just adorable (sorry, I don’t know much about architecture).  Mu husband was loving the old motor museum.  The highlight for me was the fields of canola that rolled as far as the eye could see.  Of course I had my camera so snaps were a must!
